About the La Marzocco Linea Mini Espresso Machine

Brewing and Steaming on the La Marzocco Linea Mini 

The La Marzocco Linea Mini brings the look of the Linea Classic into a home espresso machine, with a commercial-style group cap adopted from commercial espresso machines. Each shot is pulled with a manual paddle, a semi-automatic design modeled on the brand's machines from the 1970s, with electronic pre-infusion behind it.

Dual Boilers and PID Temperature Control

It uses a dual boiler layout, so the brew boiler and the steam boiler each have their own PID temperature control. Brewing and steaming milk run from separate boilers, and the cool-touch steam wand has a PEEK polymer tip.

Pre-Infusion and Pump Pressure

A two-valve pre-infusion system provides controlled pre-infusion before full pressure, with a self-cleaning flow restrictor built in, and the pre-infusion timeout can run as long as 99 seconds. The pump leaves the factory at 9 bar and can be adjusted when a coffee's extraction works better at a different pressure.

Shot Timer, Brew-by-Weight, and the La Marzocco Home App

Timing and weighing are part of the routine. Alongside the built-in shot timer, the machine works with La Marzocco's own brew-by-weight scales, and the La Marzocco Home app adds more advanced settings.

Cleaning and Standby

For upkeep, the machine can run an automatic backflush or a rinse mode, and its standby mode is customizable.
