Questions about the ALL GROUND DARK-T 64MM8
What type of burrs do the AllGround grinders use?

Both the AllGround and AllGround Sense use 64 mm flat burrs made from M340 hardened steel, designed for uniform grinding across espresso, moka, and filter settings while ensuring long-term durability.

Can I use these grinders for both espresso and filter coffee?

Yes. Both models feature three adjustable grinding ranges — Espresso, Moka, and Filter — with clearly marked dials for precise and easy switching between brew types.

What’s the difference between AllGround and AllGround Sense?

Both share the same 64 mm Dark-T burrs and build. The AllGround Sense adds built-in load cell (grind-by-weight) technology, weighing the coffee in real time as it grinds so you don't need a separate scale.

How fine can I grind with these machines?

Both grinders can grind very fine for espresso and coarse for pour-over or French press, thanks to the stepless micro-adjustment system within each range on the grind dial.

Is it easy to clean and maintain the grinder?

Yes. The magnetic grind ring and accessible burr chamber make cleaning quick and tool-free. Burrs can be removed easily without losing your grind calibration.

How quiet are these grinders during operation?

Both models feature a low-noise direct-drive motor (around 60 dB), making them significantly quieter than most espresso grinders—perfect for home or café settings.

Do these grinders retain a lot of coffee grounds?

No. Thanks to the vertical grind path and smooth internal chute, retention is under 1 gram, keeping your coffee fresh and consistent.

Can I grind directly into a portafilter or a container?

Yes. Both grinders include an adjustable fork for portafilters and come with a grounds catcher cup for moka or filter brewing.
