What electrical supply does the E1 Prima need?

The Volumetric and Volumetric with Easy Cream run on 110 V, 2800 W, 15 A with a NEMA 5-15 plug.

The Pro 220V runs on 220 V, 3100 W. The distributor does not list the plug type or amperage for the Pro, so please contact us to confirm before installation.

Does the E1 Prima need a water line?

No. Every E1 Prima version can run in pour over mode from its 1 L water tank, and direct water connection is also included if you want to plumb it in.

How much counter space does the E1 Prima need?

The E1 Prima measures 16 in wide, 20 in deep and 15 in high on all versions. Allow extra room around the machine for ventilation and access to the tank.

What are the T3, NEO and TERS systems on the E1 Prima?

All E1 Prima versions include the T3 system, NEO and TERS. According to Victoria Arduino, T3 controls temperature at three points for precise brewing, NEO heats only the water needed for extraction, and TERS uses discharged water to pre-heat incoming water to save energy. The US distributor lists these water requirements: line pressure 2 to 4 bar, flow rate 1 gallon per minute, total dissolved solids 50 to 250 ppm, hardness under 3 grains per gallon (50 ppm), chlorine under 0.5 ppm, alkalinity 10 to 150 ppm, pH 6.5 to 8.5 and filtration under 1.0 micron. Water outside these specs can void the warranty, so a softener or filter is recommended where needed.
