The filter head in this kit has 1/2 in NPT inlet and outlet connections, both on the same side of the head for a space-saving install. The system can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

What water pressure and temperature can the PURITY C filter handle?

It is for cold drinking water only, with an inlet temperature of 39.2 to 86 °F (4 to 30 °C) and a maximum operating pressure of 125 psi (8.6 bar). If your line pressure is higher, install a pressure reducing valve before the filter.

How do I change a PURITY C cartridge?

No tools are needed. Press the flush valve to depressurize the filter, pivot the cartridge 90° in its wall bracket and remove it from the head. Take the protective cap off the new cartridge, insert it vertically into the head and turn the locking handle until it clicks. All PURITY C cartridge sizes fit the same filter head.
