Questions about the Atom Excellence 657
What type of burrs do these grinders use?

Both models use flat hardened-steel burrs — 65 mm diameter in the Excellence 65, and 75 mm diameter in the Excellence 75.

What is the difference between the Atom Excellence 65 and Excellence 75?

The main difference is burr size and throughput: the Excellence 75 has larger 75 mm burrs, higher motor power and greater output speed (3.3-4.8 g/s) suited for heavier duty use.

Are these grinders suitable for professional/commercial use?

Yes—they are built for high-performance grinding with features like Silent Technology, high-speed burrs, and durable construction, making them appropriate for cafés, roasteries or serious home setups.

What is their grind-adjustment system like?

Both offer a stepless micrometric regulation system, allowing very fine tuning of grind size.

How quiet are they during operation?

They feature Eureka “Silent Technology” and anti-vibration housing design—making them significantly quieter than many comparable grinders.

Do they include anti-static or anti-clump systems?

Yes—they both include the ACE system (Anti-Clumps & Electrostaticity) to reduce static and clumping of grounds, improving dosing consistency and cleanliness.

What is the bean hopper capacity and typical productivity?

The Excellence 75 has a bean hopper of about 2.09 kg (2,090 g), and its productivity is cited as 3.3–4.8 g/s. Contact an advisor to confirm the hopper size on the Excellence 65.
