About the Mahlkonig E65S GbW Grind-by-Weight Espresso Grinder

The Mahlkonig E65S GbW has been discontinued and replaced by the Mahlkonig E65W GbS. Crawford Espresso orders for the Mahlkonig E65S GbW are automatically upgraded to the new grinder. 

The Mahlkonig E65S GbW is the weighed-dose version of Mahlkonig's E65S espresso grinder. Where the standard E65S doses by time, the GbW model weighs each dose as it grinds and stops at the target weight. That removes the drift that changing bean density, humidity, and hopper level introduce into timed dosing, keeping every shot on recipe without manual correction.

The grinder shares the E65S platform's 65mm flat steel burrs and stepless adjustment. Grind quality, speed, and retention are identical to the timer-based model. The difference is the dosing method, and for bars that want dose accuracy without a separate scale step, the GbW version eliminates that handoff entirely.

The Mahlkonig E65S GbW espresso grinder fits the same countertop footprint as the standard E65S and runs on the same voltage.
