The Nuova Simonelli Prontobar Touch is a super-automatic espresso machine for restaurants, coffee shops and medium-size offices. Drinks are made at the press of a button on a large color touch screen, so any team member can serve consistent beverages.

Does the Prontobar Touch need a water line and drain?

Water: a dedicated 3/8 in cold water line with a shut-off valve and compression fitting.
Required water quality: hardness 3 gpg or 50 ppm, line pressure 2 to 4 bar, minimum flow 1 GPM, filtration of 1.0 micron or finer, TDS 50 to 250 ppm, alkalinity 10 to 150 ppm, chlorine 0.50 or less, pH 6.5 to 8.5.
Drain: an open gravity drain with a minimum 1.25 in inside diameter, within 4 ft of the machine.
