What are the T3, NEO and TERS systems on the E1 Prima?

All E1 Prima versions include the T3 system, NEO and TERS. According to Victoria Arduino, T3 controls temperature at three points for precise brewing, NEO heats only the water needed for extraction, and TERS uses discharged water to pre-heat incoming water to save energy. The machine also has auto-purge and an economizer.

What water does a Victoria Arduino machine need?

The US distributor lists these water requirements: line pressure 2 to 4 bar, flow rate 1 gallon per minute, total dissolved solids 50 to 250 ppm, hardness under 3 grains per gallon (50 ppm), chlorine under 0.5 ppm, alkalinity 10 to 150 ppm, pH 6.5 to 8.5 and filtration under 1.0 micron. Water outside these specs can void the warranty, so a softener or filter is recommended where needed.
