R58 Cinquantotto

The Rocket R Cinquantotto (also known as R58) is a dual-boiler espresso machine that offers professional-grade performance for home or small café use. It combines classic Italian design with precise digital control and modern features like a detachable touchscreen PID controller.

It features two independent stainless-steel boilers — one for brewing (about 0.37 gal) and one for steaming (about 0.79 gal) — allowing simultaneous extraction and milk texturing without temperature fluctuation.

Yes. The included PID controller lets you set brew and steam boiler temperatures independently, fine-tuning shot temperature and steam power to match your coffee preferences.

The Cinquantotto can be used with either a built-in 0.66 gal (2.5 L) water reservoir or connected directly to your home’s water line through its integrated rotary pump for continuous operation.

Thanks to its dual-boiler design and PID control, the machine typically reaches optimal operating temperature in about 10 – 15 minutes, ensuring stable performance throughout use.

It uses a commercial-grade rotary pump, which delivers quiet, consistent pressure and allows both tank and direct-plumb operation — superior to vibratory pumps in longevity and stability.

Absolutely. The powerful steam boiler provides dry, high-pressure steam, making it ideal for fast, silky milk frothing for cappuccinos and lattes.

Routine care includes daily back-flushing, cleaning the steam wand, descaling when needed, and maintaining water filtration. The dual-boiler design simplifies cleaning and prevents scale buildup when water quality is good.

The Cinquantotto is hand-built in Milan with 304-grade stainless steel, cool-touch steam wands, ergonomic knobs, and a signature Rocket badge — combining durability, elegance, and performance.

It’s ideal for advanced home baristas or boutique cafés that want café-quality espresso, independent temperature control, and a premium aesthetic without stepping up to full commercial machines.
